2651 [rdwjr] Have found different spellings of this name "HUTCHINS" vs "HUTCHING" WOOD, Elizabeth Hutchins (I670)

2652 [rdwjr] Have no clue from name if 'Major' is a military rank or first name. STOVALL, Major Peter (I361)

2653 [rdwjr] Have noticed name spelled 'DORCUS" vs "DARCUS"
Using "DARCUS" version until new evidence shows different.
WOOD, Dorcas (I273)

2654 [rdwjr] if the dates of birth for 'FRANCE E COOK" the mother and "CARRIE WOOD" the child are correct as listed then the mother, Frances E Cook would have been almost 52 years of age when Carrie was born. This is highly unlikely, therefore these dates will be held in suspense until we can get verification or a correction.

Addtionaly, her mother died on 14 May 1884 which is about five years prior to Carrie Wood's birth shown as 2-July-1889
WOOD, Carrie (I1155)

2655 [rdwjr] listed in Dad's papers as "MARTHA ( IRWIN ) BURKHEAD" don't know what this means BURKHEAD, Martha (I957)

2656 [rdwjr] not absolutely certain that maiden name is Winslow. WINSLOW, Miriam (I1305)

2657 [rdwjr] not certain about spelling of Ann's middle name but this is how it is listed in the legacy data in file 609A.txt. Expect it might really be ANN HARRIET ROYAL or ANN E. HARRIET ROYAL. ROYAL, Ann Eharriet (I3199)

2658 [rdwjr] place of birth listed at Elbert Springs, GA. Cannot find reference information as to where this place existed.

2659 [rdwjr] source 140A.txt lists "THOMAS WINSLOW THORNBURG." The correct name we believe to be "THOMAS THORNROUGH V" according to the following web site information http://www.geocities.com/heartland/farm/4038/ThosDicey.html

[Woodward Genealogy, http://www.geocities.com/heartland/farm/4038/]

Children:
Winslow Thornbrough born about 1818, Randolph County, North Carolina; married Landy Andrews
Sarah Thornbrough born about 1818, Randolph County, North Carolina; married William Stafford
(These birthdates are from census records and may be erroneous, so we do not necessarily think that Winslow and Sarah were twins. Sarah did apparently have a set of twins. We have two consistent census records for Winslow, but only one for Sarah).

Thomas Thornbrough wanted this part of his family raised Quaker as on 10/29/1823, at Back Creek Monthly Meeting, Winslow and Sarah Thornbrugh were received at request of their father, Thomas.
THORNBROUGH, Thomas Winslow V (I542)

2660 [rdwjr] There is an error in the dates given for Silva's birth and death dates, "(1809-c1805)" Therefore, I'm only listing her date of birth until the actual death date can be learned. POWELL, Silva (I1120)

2661 [rdwjr]... Inconsistent date of birth for CHERYL DENESE ALLAN, adult file 507A.txt shows 19-Nov-1952 while her child file 353A.txt shows 19-Nov-1957.

2662 [rdwjr]...Inconsistent data. File 215A.txt lists place where burried as Abbeville, SC. However, source book shows the following entry for a DANIELL, J. T., 3-10-1902, 11-11-1924. The dates are too close it seems to be a coincident.
Will have to do further analysis to determine correctness

2666 [rdwjr} I have no idea whether or not the General in "GENERAL LEE WOOD's" name is part of his name or a military rank. I would assume that it is part of his name and that he was named in honor of the south's General Robert Lee. WOOD, General Lee (I1132)

2667 |PENUEL WOOD, SR, oldest son of WILLIAM and MARY WOOD, was born about 1733 probably in Virginia, moved to Granville County, |North Carolina sometime between 1752 and 1754. It is believed that PENUEL moved to South Carolina soon after 1770. (see page 100B-1, years 1748 thru 1751 & 1752-1754. also see page 100B-4, years 15 Dec 1770 and 15 Jul 1974, to find out how |above dates were determined.
