304 | A native of Madison County, Mr. Hopkins was a son of the late Leonard Guy Sr. and Lula Tolbert Hopkins. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Ann Hopkins, and by a son, Wayne Hopkins. He was a carpenter for Puritan-Wellington, was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and was a member of Edwards Chapel Baptist Church. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday at Bernstein Funeral Home, the Rev. Jack Segars officiating. Survivors include his wife, Martha Potter Hopkins; a son, Ronnie Hopkins, Griffin; a sister, Farrah Wages, Athens; a brother, Earl Hopkins, Athens; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
