  • Notes
    • Milton County, Georgia was annexed by Fulton County in 1932 and forms the most northern portion of Fulton County.

      Birmingham, GA
The Birmingham Community is the best preserved local community in the area and one of the most threatened. Located at the intersection of Birmingham Highway (372) and Birmingham Road, the community still contains several old store buildings, a Methodist Church, and several older homes around the community center.

Birmingham was one of the farthest community in Milton County, and so the most distant from Alpharetta. Reference: http://www.mindspring.com/~knights/commbham.html

This is how his name is written on the birth certificate forJohnBunyan Cincinatti Wood. In the old days it was common to find numerous different spellings for names because this was a time before drivers license, ID cards and such.
