- The following information provided by: Sandra McCraw Battin
In the 1900 census, she lives in Pulaski County, Ark., with her parents. She
is 7 years old and is at school. She was born in June 1893.
In the 1910 census, she lives on Centennial Road, Pulaski County, Ark., with
her husband, Alvin, 23, and their son, Alvin, 4 months old. She is 16 years
old. She was born in Arkansas and both of her parents were born in Georgia.
She is a homemaker and lives on a farm. Her parents live next door or across
the street. She can read and write.
Her death certificate, filed from Bayou Meto, Pulaski County, Arkansas, says
that Emma McCraw died on Oct. 16, 1914, of septicemia with the contribuatory
factor of malarial fever. She was female and white, her occupation was
housekeeping, she was married. Her father's name was B.M. Wood, born in
Georgia. Her mother's maiden name was Hall, born in Arkansas. Informati
was supplied by Al McCraw. She was buried in Bethel Cemetery. Will Farris of
Cato, Ark., was the undertaker.
