McCraw is 8 years old. He lives in Jacksonvill Grey Township, Pulaski County, Ark., with his grandmother, Sarah R. Wood. He was able to read and write and was born in Arkansas. His parents were both born in Arkansas as well. With him live his brother, Willis A., 10, born in Arkansas, and his sister, Sarah E., also born in Arkansas. Their grandmother is 65, born in Georgia and is a farmer. She can also read and write. Her father was born in South Carolina and her mother in Tennessee. They live on Conway Road. 1930 census shows Bernie M. and Mildred F. Marcum living at 1012 Bankhe Street in New Albany, Miss., in a rental home. He was 23 years old and was married at the age of 23. It says he was born in Missouri, although this is the only place that is listed. His father was born in the United States and his mother in Arkansas. He works as a baker in a bakery. Living at 1113 Bankhead Street are Dick H. and Nettie C. Hall, who may be his aunt and uncle. Dick is 61 and Nettie is 46. On Jan. 18, 1937, B.M. McGraw filed an application for a Social Security card. He lived at 413 Laura St. in Clearwater, Fla. He was 25 years old and gave his birthdate as March 23, 1911, and his birthplace as Little Rock, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He listed his parents as Alvin McGraw and Emma Wood.
