Notes |
- Artie's family was born and raisded in Oak Park, Illinois (a town around Chicago). Artemus was a pharmacist in a drug store he owned called Fair Oaks Medical Center and Pharmacy.
Contents of an email to me dated 7/20/2005 from the Araba Shrine Temple in Ft. Myers, Florida:
Dear SirThe most I could find out from our archival records is as follows:
Charter member as of 7/6/66
Artie Leatus White
3951 Gulf Shore Blvd.
Naples, Florida
Originally from Medinah Temple, Chicago, Illinios
Died 7/17/73
I talked with several charter members but they have no recollection of any activities Noble Artie might have been involved in. I would suggest that you contact his Masonic Lodge possibly in Oak Park. I do not have anything here that suggests he was active in a Masonic Lodge here. Sorry I could not be of more help.
SincerelyLouis D. Mitchell, Potentate of Araba Shriners, Ft. Myers, Florida
