      REIDVILLE, SC-- Rachel Snow Burgess, 79, of 235 Pine Street, died Monday, January 23, 2006 at her home. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Cora Hendrix Snow and the widow of the late Robert W. Burgess. She was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church and retired from Springs Ind. after 40 years of service.

      Survivors include one daughter, Dale Edge and husband Billy of Moore; one sister, Margaret S. DeYoung and husband Earl of Duncan. She was preceded in death by six brothers, Clinton, Collier, Murray, Horace, T. B., and Rudolph Snow; and two sisters, Olivia Johnson and Ruby Snow.

      Visitation will be 7 to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 24, 2006 at Stribling Funeral Home. Graveside services will be held 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 25, 2006 at Sharon United Methodist Church Cemetery, officiated by Rev. Rance Sprayberry and Rev. Murray Snow Jr.

      Memorials maybe made to Sharon United Methodist Church P.O. Box 418, Reidville, SC 29375.

      The family is at the home.
