[rdwjr]...Appears to be inconsistent data concerning the DIED entry for JOSIAH LESTER as a child in File 105A.txt states "in CSA, MARKS MILL, AR." and File as head of family page File 113A.txt states "*OUACHITA CO, AR" Both statements may be correct but additional research is required to determine what should be used. The " * " shown in front of the File 113A.txt entry directs the reader to the Remarks section of the file where we find the statement "*Died in service of CSA" <20-June-2005>

Directions to Marks Hill Cemetery. Taken off the internet
"...Thornton, south of Fordyce, also has antiques. Civil War buffs will find Marks' Hill Cemetery on Hwy. 95 North interesting. Located just north of Marks' Hill, a state historic site commemorating a Civil War battle, the cemetery holds Confederate dead killed in the battle."

Conclusion: Both entries are likely correct as it appears that Marks Hill is a state historic site in Arkansas and not a town. Therefore, it appears that JOSIAH LESTER was killed at the battle of Marks Hill and buried in Quachita County, AR. I have been unable to find he exact location of this historic site or cemetery.
