    • Note for place of death: Alcorn County, MS came into existence on 15-April-1870 and was formed from parts of Tippiah and Tishomingo counties which both still exist today. Therefore, it is unknown which county might have any records on this individual. In 1917 many vital records were lost in Alcorn County, MS

      Isham and Manassa married ca 1819 in Limestone County, Alabama. Their first two children were born in Limestone County, Alabama. They moved to Giles County, Tennessee where additional children were born, including Lewis John Lester in 1831.
