He married Susannah Clark 18 Dec 1852 in Whitfield, Georgia. Susannah Clark, born Abt. 1835 in Tennessee. She was the daughter of Jeremiah Clark and Sarah Sally Burchfield.
In the 1860 census, Thomas Jefferson Hall lives in Blainesville, St. Clair County, Ala. He is 30 and his wife, Susannah, is 25. His estate is worth $400 and his property is worth $591. He was born in South Carolina. Susannah is a housewife and was born in Tennessee. With them live their children, Sarah R., 6; Sabra R., 4; Elizabeth M., 10 months; and Nancy E. Brown, 18, a housekeeper. Sarah was born in Georgia and Sabra and Elizabeth were born in Alabama.
In the 1870 census, is listed as 39 years old and attending a grist mill in Tunnel Hill, Ga. He lives with his wife, Susanna, who is keeping house. With them are Sarah R., 16; Elizabeth, 10; and Nancy, 7. Sarah and Nancy were born in Georgia while Elizabeth was born in Alabama.
In the 1880 census, Thomas J. Hall lived in Tunnel Hill, Whitfield County, Ga. He is 39 years old and his occupation is attending a grist mill. His estate is worth $1,000. Wife Susannah is 35 and is keeping house. She is 30 years old. Living with them are their children, Sarah, 16; Elizabeth, 10; and Nancy, 7.
