    • Howard J. Chandler, 68, of 21 Floyd Road, died April 13, 2002. A native and lifelong resident of Madison County, he was a son of the late Raymond and Mary Adams Chandler. He was a farmer and a member of Union Baptist Church, where he was a deacon. Mr. Chandler was a veteran of the United States Army. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16, 2002 at 2 p.m. at Union Baptist Church with the Rev. Walter Singletary officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Survivors include his wife, Sue Chandler; sons and daughters-in-law,
      Wayne and Lydia Chandler, Stacy and Andrea Chandler; brothers, Troy Chandler and Jim Chandler, all of Danielsville; five grandchildren,
      Colton Chandler, Lance Chandler, Camille Chandler, Colby Chandler and Hunter Chandler. Pallbearers will be Jack Fendley, Joe Gunnells, George Chandler, James Adams, G. Donald Smith and Walter Jackson. Deacons of Union Baptist Church will serve as honorary allbearers. The family will receive friends Monday from 6-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Flowers will be accepted as well as memorials to Union Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 2900 Highway 106 South, Hull, Ga. 30646. Lord & Stephens Funeral Home, Danielsville, has charge of arrangements.
