      Comer News: Comer - Eleanor T Kidd, 80, died Wednesday, November 10, 1999. A native of Madison Co, she was a daughter of the late Dewy and Nina Carruth Threlkeld and was the widow of Charlie C Kidd. She was a homemaker and was a member of New Hope Presbyterian Church.
      Services were 3 p.m. Friday at New Hope Presbyterian Church with the Rev Jack Taylor officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
      Survivors include a daughter, Lynda Drake, Comer; a son, Charles Kidd, Carlton; a granddaughter Allison Valdes, and three grandsons, Scott Drake, Chris Kidd and Bryan Kidd.
      Pallbearers were Lee Bales, Dallas Fields, Mike Kidd, Rufus Kidd, Butch Russell, and Howard Threlkeld.
