  Died at age 91 years, 5 months, 19 days. ----------------------------- Ms. Mary Louise Threlkeld, 91, of Comer, died Monday, July 7, 203. A native of Madison County, Ms. Threlkeld was a daughter of the late Calvin L. and Mary Etta Burroughs Smith. She was the wife of the late Harold Livingston Threlkeld. Ms. Threlkeld was a homemaker and had worked at Blue Bell Sewing Plant for 27 years. She was also a columnist writer for The Comer News for over 40 years. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 9, at New Hope Presbyterian Church with Minister Janet Williams officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery. Survivors include a son, Harold Smith Threlkeld, Comer; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and John Drew, Rome; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
