• Notes

  Numerous public trees on ancestry.com list Elizabeth Hill's place of birth as Salt Lake City, Utah or some form of the name. It is extremely doubtful that she was born in Salt Lake City, Utah since that city was not founded until 1847 and in 1745 there probably wasn't any major frontiersmen present in this area. One possible explanation is that it is another place in the east named Salt Lake and over time it was mistakingly attached to the present day city in Utah.
