  Died at age 74 years, 0 months, 7 days. ------------------------------ Thomas enlisted as a Private in Company G, 3rd Kentucky Mounted Infantry at Benton, Marshall County, Kentucky on April 17, 1864. Company G was mounted at Gainesville, Alabama on March 11, 1864. He was hospitalized at Jackson Hospital, Richmond, Virginia on March 1, 1865 with pneumonia. He was furloughed for 60 days on March 28, 1865. No further records. -- Source: John T.
