- Notes for Joe HARRIS: Fact 1: Photographer
Occupation: 1918, Weaver at Dallas Cotton Mills
Physical description: 1918, Blue eyes, sandy hair, medium height and slender build

When Joe and his wife, Ida, separated, Joe kept their children Earl and Velma who were reared by their grandmother (? Huggins). In 1931 Joe was paralyzed in a hospital in Chattanooga. When he died, relatives in Dalton were called about the funeral. None could undertake the cost. State probably accepted burial responsibility.
