Notes |
- John M. Harris is buried in Nance Springs (or Union Springs as it is, also, called) Cemetery, Whitfield Co., GA. His marker (in 2002) was broken in half and laying flat on the ground. It is located in the north east corner. His mother, Virginia (Silvey) Harris and sister, Annie Lou (Harris) are buried near him without a marker. The tombstone has a carved picture of a hand pointing skyward, below which is his name and dates and "Father, let thy grace be (? given ?) That we may meet in heaven." (Information provided by Joyce Wood - March 2006)
