  Ezekial Morgan was born on his father's farm near Raleigh, North Carolina. He married Linnie Brantley and soon after their marriage they came to Alabama, where they settled first near Blount Spring, sometime in the early 1840. Ezekial Morgan and family were neighbors to Amos B. Walker and family. According to the "Scrapbook of Memories" Dora Centenial 1886-1986, pages 16-18, information on the MORGAN families.
