• Notes

  Maston was born near Baltimore Ford on the Mulberry Fork. Maston C. Morgan enlisted on September 2, 1862, at Jasper as a private in Company F, Twenty-eighth Alabama Infantry, and served in March 1863, when he was sent home on account of physical disability. In July, 1863, he re-enlisted in Company G, Eighth Alabama Cavalry, under Captain Wharton, and served until the close of the war.
