Margaret Wood (1875-?)
In the 1910 census, Margie S.L. Wood Younge, 36, lives with her husband, William P.C. Younge, age 46, born about 1864, live on Centennial Road in Jacksonville, Pulaski County, Arkansas. He is a farmer born in South Carolina. She had nine children of whom five are living. Both can read and write. With them live their children, Berry F., 17; Bonnie S., 13; Fannie B., 11; Pione, 10; and Mary I., 4.
In the 1920 census, Margie Younger and husband, William, live next door to Sarah Wood and the McCraw children on Conway Road. William is 56 and born in South Carolina. He is a farmer. Margie is 44 and was born in Arkansas. With them live their children, Berry, 27, born in Arkansas and single; Pious, 19, born in Arkansas.
In the 1930 census, Margaret Wood Younge is 56 years old and is living on
Conway Road with her husband, W.C. Younge, 84. They own their home, which is
a general farm. When they married, he was 34 and she was 16. Both are able
to read and write. She was born in Arkansas and says both her parents were
born in Georgia. With them live Ima Roberts, 24, their daughter, who was
married at age 23, and their son, Berry, 37, who is single.
After the death of their grandmother, from family stories, Willis Alvin, Bernie and Sarah Estelle went to live with Aunt Marge and the Younge family. I've been unable to confirm this information.
