      Comer News: Clestine Hawks, 75, died Friday, April 7, 2000. A native of Madison Co, she was a daughter of Jesse and Zora Stone Hopkins. She was preceded in death by her first spouse Carl Hill and her second spouse John Hawks. She was a homemaker and of the Methodist faith.
      Services were 3 pm Sunday April 9, 2000 at Gordons Chapel UMC with the Rev Ro ert Passmore officiating. Burial in the church cemetery.
      Survivors include on uncle, A L Stone, Sr; two aunts, Darlene Barnett and Jimmie Ree Wardlaw. Cousins served as pallbearers.
